Laci began her journey in veterinary medicine back in 2009 as a kennel tech, and with a lot of dedication, she has proudly worked her way up to office manager. As a Minden, Louisiana native, she brings a little southern charm and a touch of sass to the clinic each day.

At home, she is a wife and busy mom of four- one sweet girl and three energetic boys, so organization and multitasking come naturally. When she is not keeping things running smoothly at the clinic, you can find her spending time with her family and spoiling their miniature goldendoodle, Patricia, who definitely thinks she is the boss. 

Claire’s hometown is Minden, Louisiana. She has been with Buffington Veterinary Hospital since 2017, and she has worked her way up to Head Veterinary Technician. Her passion for pets has grown through the years, as well as her love for the clients. Claire loves making a positive impact on every pet and person that walks through the door. 

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and playing with her 2 cats and 3 dogs.

Kayla is from Minden, Louisiana, and has been a part of the team since March 2025, though she has been a client with her family since 2005. As our receptionist, she is the first smiling face you'll see when you walk in, and she also lends a hand in the kennels when needed.

Kayla has always had a love for animals, with a special interest in reptiles. At home, she cares for her own sweet pets: a cat named Princess Leia and two lively doodles, Oakley and Maverick.

When she is not at the hospital, Kayla enjoys working out, reading, drawing, and spending time with family and friends.
